Yeah, I've finally had enough of this place.

The level of behaviour I've seen here is ridiculous and yes, I still hate the new design. This place has had its best years already - as we all know the downhill slide began long ago. I've hummed and harred over this for well over a YEAR now...but I think the time has come to give the game up.

This in mind, I will be looking around for alternatives for hosting my art. I will talk to a few web designers about making me a decent design - fully interactive, forum style - and find some good, high-bandwidth hosting. Once all that's ready to go and my stuff is online...I may get rid of my gallery here. Yeah I'll keep watching people's journals etc, but I will no longer be uploading art here.

No, I'm not doing this for the usual reason (attention). I'm sick and tired of what I frankly reckon is bullshit...every time I log on here I get stressed out. I dread seeing who's written what this time. I avoid looking at my messages for so long that when I do log in, there's at least two grand waiting for me. It's just...well, I've moved on.

I've also lost interest in what most people add me for - fanart. I've got my own story (stories) to work on, my own characters, my own comics...and if it's not anime/game art, no one gives a fuck anyway. Those who actually want to see my stuff - you'll know where to go. Those that can't be bothered...meh, I can't be bothered with you either.

In other news, we've decided to change the 'deviantART' stall at Armageddon. We will now be renaming it 'ARTearoa - kiwi art by kiwi artists', though we will still be recruiting artists through the Armageddon-Survivors club. So we'll still be there, but independant of the deviantART name. It's time to move on.
