I think I might be one of those artists that drops art for a few years then picks it up later on. Meh...we shall see.

ZOMG IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY! And I am now 20

What did I get for my B'day? A model of Bunta's car and a pair of bucket seats. Seems like not a lot, ne? Think again. The little car was all I asked for! Bunta's WRX, as some will know, has a LOT of meaning to me - the first WRX I encountered, and the one vehicle that got me into the whole car addiction. It's what Shale will soon become, more or less...or, an inspired version thereof. I've finished the model and will take photos soon. The bucket seats? They're genuine, mint condition WRX STi version 8 bucket seats...bright blue suede and grey/black trim. They're super-contoured and fit anyone's body like a glove. I've never felt something more comfortable! And they look fantastic.

And yes. Car was a gift, the seats I bought myself. Spent the day with my youngest sister Amanda, shopping and talking about cars (she's a bit of a racer at heart, bless her! ) and boys and life in general. Whoda thought hanging out with a 13 year old could be so endearing? She's developing into a lovely girl rather than an annoying emo kid.

This is what Shale looks like as of Saturday. Notice the new nose (the black bit) and bucket seats on top of the full body kit (also note the mud flaps are gone from the front wheels). October is repaint time...with any luck, this will be finished before Armageddon!

Which I am still managing, bitches. I may be slow with the updates but fuck, that stall is my baby! D:



GRASSKANA! Wtf is a grasskana? LOL does anyone know what motorkhana or gymkhana are? The art of TEH WIKKID SKIDZ0RZ LOL. Not drifting...these two are based usually in parking lots... XD. Grasskana? Ditto, only in an open paddock. Go figure. I'm attending my first one just before I put the car in for paint. Awesome stuff...I learn how to do hellis, drift, rally, etc...and apparently Shale's the perfect car for the course.

Why did I just blurt that out? Well mate...it's the weekend before Armageddon! I do the grasskana, then the same day put the car in for painting. With any luck he MIGHT be back for Armageddon >__<;; I have no other choice...that's when it's gotta be done. So yes, Armageddon people...we may be using the ArmaHONDA for the first day or two! But the ArmaWRX will be back, bad, noisy and with a new tan for at least Sunday and Monday!
